At 520 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Cainhoy, moving east at 5 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Mount Pleasant, Daniel Island, Awendaw, Mount Pleasant Regional Airport, Cainhoy, Wando, Boone Hall Plantation, Dunes West, Park West and Rivertowne. This includes I-526 near mile marker 26.
