Cameras and observations indicated that patchy dense fog has developed across a majority of the MD and VA Eastern Shore counties. Visibilities will average between one half and two miles, but could drop to less than a mile a times. The fog will persist through around or just after sunrise. If fog becomes more widespread with visibilities less of or less than a quarter mile, a Dense Fog Advisory may be needed. Motorists should be alert for sudden changes in visibility due to the areas of fog. Drive at reduced speeds and use low beam headlights only.
