WHAT
Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
WHERE
Oahu.
WHEN
Through late tonight.
IMPACTS
Flood prone roads and other low lying areas may be closed due to elevated runoff and overflowing streams. Urban areas may receive more significant flooding and property damage due to rapid runoff.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- A vigorous upper level trough continues to slowly swing through the state this afternoon and will continue to bring unstable weather conditions through tonight. Heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue to be possible overnight tonight. The trough axis should lift north of the area by Sunday morning, which should diminish the flooding threat.
Recommendations
You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
