2 Active Notices
Sat 11:13 PM → Mon 5:00 AM EDT
WHAT
Dangerous rip currents and rough surf.
WHERE
Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida Beaches.
WHEN
Through late Sunday night.
IMPACTS
Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water.
Recommendations
Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.
Sun 5:07 AM → Sun 9:00 AM EDT
Locally dense fog is expected across coastal Southeast Georgia and coastal Northeast Florida early this morning. Visibilities of 1/2 mile or less can be expected along the I-95 and US-17 corridors through sunrise, and as far inland as the US-301 highway corridor. Visibilities will begin to improve between 8am and 9am this morning. Fog could also be increasingly dense near areas of smoke produced by wildfires. Use caution while driving this morning, leaving plenty of room between you and the vehicle in front of you.
