WHAT: Snow and blowing snow. Total additional snow accumulations up to one inch. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. Snow drifts of 1 to 3 feet due to winds are widespread.
WHERE: Kodiak Island Northeast, including Kodiak City.
WHEN: Until 9 PM AKST this evening.
IMPACTS: Visibilities reduced to one half mile or less due to blowing snow. Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday evening commute.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Periods of light snow showers will continue through Monday, slowly diminishing in tandem with the winds through Monday evening. Visibility could be quickly decreased in heavier snow showers.
